Basic Requirements for a Foster Parent
  • Ability to provide care, supervision and nurturing.
  • Adequate room in your home to care for the foster child.
  • Financial stability sufficient to care for the foster child.
  • Participation in foster parent training and to work as a team member with the agency.
  • Reliable transportation for the child's activities.
  • Most importantly, a willingness to love and care for a child, allowing the child to become a temporary part of your family.
